Arts!Longview is the nonprofit organization that leads Longview’s state-designated Cultural District, championing local artists, producing arts and cultural events, supporting public art installations, and growing the creative economy.
In 2019, Arts!Longview set out to earn a Cultural District designation from the State of Texas, a status recognizing Longview’s concentration of arts and cultural assets and unlocking opportunities to grow the creative economy. Media Quest produced a five-minute documentary-style video for Arts!Longview to include with its official application to the state, telling the story of Longview’s arts community, local artists, and cultural spaces.
